Reviews and Ratings
The room was lovely, with a huge bay window looking out to the car park. However, being at the rear of the hotel, above the kitchen, meant constant cooking smells in the room. Still, it was nice for us as two friends with slight walking difficulty. The service was extremely helpful and welcoming, especially when our 2-year-old grandson was unwell. The location was quiet and ideal for a relaxing weekend away. However, during busy times, it felt overcrowded, almost a health and safety issue. The dining experience was a huge letdown, apart from the coffee at breakfast. The facilities were sufficient, although some areas were substandard.
The hotel was welcoming, spotlessly clean, and had a huge bay window in room 14, perfect for relaxing. However, the top floor room was too hot during warm weather. The staff were lovely and went above-and-beyond to ensure our comfort, although they were quite busy due to an influx of guests from a nearby hotel. The location was quiet and served its purpose well, but it could get crowded at times. The dining experience was good overall, with plenty of choices, although the price for the night's stay could impact expectations. The facilities were cozy and inviting, offering a warm and personal atmosphere.
The hotel room, although it wasn't ready upon arrival, was a really good size for our family. However, it was a bit secluded with the fire door propped open. The service was great, especially the delicious and promptly served food prepared by the chef. The location, next to Crieff Hydro, was comfortable despite occasional disturbances from roaming dogs. The dining experience was okay, not the best, but the fresh local fish was cooked to order. The facilities were adequate for our needs during the stay.
